Goodbye, Farewell, Godspeed

Our improvisational performance troupe, Wing & A Prayer Pittsburgh Players creates performances around what it means to be human. Using the art-based tools of InterPlay and our own life experiences we’ve played with such themes as Loss, Grief and Recovery, Resilience, Sisterhood, Mental Illness, and Ending Violence. Inspired by one of our members, Laurie Tarter, a long time Pittsburgh dance teacher and performer, who will soon begin an adventure far from Pittsburgh, we will be cresheila and laverne sister celebrationating a performance around the theme of “Goodbye, Farewell, Godspeed.”

The Pittsburgh Players will be joined by special guest artists, actor Connor McCanlus, (Laurie’s son), and musician Doug Levine. The concert is Tuesday evening June 14th at the Dance Alloy Studios, 5530 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh 15206. A wine reception begins at 6:00 pm, the performance at 6:30 pm, and a celebratory sendoff is 7:30 to 8pm. An RSVP is required. Tax-deductible contributions to InterPlay Pittsburgh to defray the cost of this event will be welcomed and gratefully accepted.
